Teague, Ginger Hixon

Ginger Gale Hixon Teague, age 59, of Fairlawn went home to be with her Lord Sunday, March 30, 2014 at her home. She was born in Montgomery County, Virginia on June 9, 1954 to the late William Warren and Melva Virginia McGuire Hixon. She was preceded in death by her brother, Billy Hixon. Ginger was a 1973 graduate of Blacksburg High School and was a loving wife and mother. She is survived by her husband, David Teague of Fairlawn; daughter and son-in-law, Andrea Teague and husband, John Holst of Fairlawn; sisters and brother-in-law, Shirley Smith and husband, Robert of Newport, Mary Davis of Pembroke; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jerry Hixon of Pembroke, Donald and Enola Hixon of Blacksburg, Bobby and Hazel Hixon of Dublin; her guardian, Mamas. Funeral services will be conducted, Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at 2:00 pm in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Andrea Teague officiating. Interment will follow in the Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery, Dublin, VA. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 pm Tuesday evening at the McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club, SW, Blacksburg.
