Richmond, Bobby Lee

Bobby Lee Richmond, 63, of Floyd, became a “Free Bird” Thursday, August 17, 2023. He was born on November 23, 1959 in Alleghany County to the late Joyce “Faye” Richmond and Robert Richmond.

He is also preceded in death by his oldest son, Jeremy Goode; his aunt, Judy; and close cousin and friend, David Lee along with many others that were very dear to him.

Surviving to cherish his memory are his children, Serena Fuller (Keith), Zachary Richmond (Katlyn), Daisy Richmond, and JJ Childress (Shantell); grandkids, McKenleigh, Kaylee, Hazely, Wylow, and Graeson; brother, Robert “Ham” Richmond (Stephanie); nieces, Kayla and Miranda; lifelong best friend/brother, Dennis Hinton; ex-wife, Rena Richmond; as well as his bonus kids, Jason Cragett and Jennifer Radford.

A memorial service will be held for family and friends at a later date.
