Reed, Jack Eugene

Jack Eugene Reed, 70, of Elliston, passed away Saturday, June 2, 2007, at his residence. He was born December 3, 1936, in Crumpler, W. Va., to the late Sam W. and Faye Mitchem Reed.

He is survived by his wife, Sylvia J. Steele Reed; son, Jack Eugene Reed, Jr. and wife Gina of Riner; grandson, Jack E. (Jay) Reed, III of Riner; sisters, Pat Morabito and husband, Cosmo of Elwood City, Pa. and Versie Bobus of Tacoma, Wash.; brother, Timothy Reed of Blue Well, W. Va. and his favorite aunt and uncle, Blonnie and Bertha Mitchem of Princeton, W. Va.

There will be no visitation and the family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to Good Samaritan Hospice.

A memorial service will be conducted on Wednesday, June 6, 2007, at 11 a.m., from the mausoleum at Roselawn Cemetery, Princeton W. Va., with Pastor Ralph Steele and Pastor Matthew Kirkland officiating.
