HAMLIN, Mary Roberta Odham

Mary Roberta Odham Hamlin, 70, of Radford, passed quietly at home on February 12, 2006. She was born in Merrimac, Va. on April 3, 1935 to the late Marion Joseph and Mary Lexie Woolwine Odham.

The wife of 50 years to James Clarence Hamlin of Radford; her children, Rebecca Morris of Pearisburg, Randy Hamlin of Radford, Rose Mary Hill of Radford; brothers and sisters, William Howard Odham of Radford, Marion Edward Odham of Roanoke, Joyce Audrey VanbenSchoten of Durham, N.C., Fern Lucille Means of Blacksburg, Annalee Anita Greene of Clyde, N.C., Carl Joseph Odham of Asheboro, N.C., Wilma Ruby Price of Christiansburg; grandchildren, Rachel Morris Echols, Jacksonville, N.C., Jessi Hilton of Radford, Rochelle Newman of Radford; two great-grandchildren, Sasha Marie Echols, William Gabriel Echols; two aunts, Ruth Jones of Blacksburg, Ella Mae Bryant of Knoxville, Tenn.; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Memorial services will be held Wednesday, February 15, 2006 at 3 p.m. in the Merrimac Pentecostal Holiness Church with the Rev. Jerry Sloss officiating. Arrangements by McCoy Funeral Home, Blacksburg.
