Parnell, Jimmy Clyde

Jimmy Clyde Parnell, 55, of Castleton Road, Max Meadows, passed away Saturday, May 26, 2007, in the Pulaski Community Hospital.

He was born September 20, 1951, son of the late Perry James and Clara Grimes Parnell and was preceded in death by a brother, Donald Parnell. He was a member of the Pulaski Church of Christ.

He is survived by two sisters and brothers-in-law, Janet and John Hancock of Max Meadows and Carolyn and Montie Jennings of Bastian; one brother and sisters-in-law, Doug and Bernice Parnell of Richlands and Erna Parnell of Lewisville, N.C.; nine nieces and nephews; twelve great-nieces and nephews and other extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 30, 2007, at 11 a.m., at the Pulaski Church of Christ, with Minister Clarence Lavender officiating. Interment will follow in the Charity Cemetery. The body will be taken to the church one hour before service time. The family will receive friends at the Reese Funeral Home from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, or at the residence at any time.
