Holstein, Avis Ilene Reed

Avis Ilene Reed Holstein, 81, of Canton, Ohio, formerly of Willis, Va., passed away Wednesday, May 23, 2007 at her home.

Survivors are husband, John Q. Holstein, Canton, Ohio; sons, John Leo Holstein, Canton, Ohio, Dawson Crews, Roanoke, Va.; daughter, Marlene Lowe, Canton, Ohio; stepson, Wayne Allen Holstein, Savannah, Ga.; sister, Reva Alley, New Castle, Va.; 14 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Sunday, May 27, 2007 at the Maberry Funeral Home Chapel, Floyd, with Craig Reed and the Rev. Mike Price officiating. Interment will follow at Duncan’s Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Maberry Funeral Home.
