Brown, Frank Howard

Frank Howard Brown, 73, of Blacksburg, Va. and formerly from Bluefield, Va., died Wednesday, May 16,2007 in a Blacksburg Hospital.

He was was born June 3, 1933 and was a son of the late Mandy and Hugh Brown of Squire, W.Va. Frank served in the US Army as a paratrooper, division #182 at Ft. Bragg, N.C. from 1952-1955. He was a long time member of the Bluefield, Va. American Legion.

For 27 years, Frank was employed at West Virginia Armature Company in Bluefield. He and his family lived many years at 2019 Virginia Ave. in Bluefield, Va. More recently Frank and his wife have lived in Blacksburg.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother, Don Brown and sisters, Fern Whitt and Hazel Sutherland. His family who loved him and miss him dearly are wife of 52 years, Willie Brown; daughters, Christine Denardo and Penny Romeo; sons-in-law, Brad Denardo and Michael Romeo; grandchildren, Travis and Brittany Denardo, Joseph Romeo; brother-in-law, Pete Sutherland; nieces and nephews, Debbie DeVried, Robert Lowe, Vernon Lowe, Marcel Thompson, Toni Gogins, Marsha Pullen, Clarence Whitt, Darlene Whitt, Lawrence Whitt, Jim Whitt, Donna Sue Harman, Vanessa Williams, Donna Jean Brown, Kim Billips and special grandnephews, Shannon Earls and Frank Earls.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 19,2007 at 11 a.m. at the Dudley Memorial Chapel in Bluefield, Va. with the Rev. Ray Amos officiating. Burial will follow in the Maple Hill Cemetery. Friends may call Saturday from 10 a.m. until hour of services at the Dudley Memorial Mortuary.
