Gailya Alexander “Gail” Dillon, age 81, of Ballard, WV, passed away on Friday, July 8, 2022, at the Bowers Hospice House in Beckley, WV. Born November 1, 1940, at Carroll County, VA, she was the daughter of the late Charles Ingram Alexander and Minnie Nicktie Hanks Alexander. Gail was a homemaker and a member of Rich Creek Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Lee Dillon; and several brothers and sisters. Survivors include four daughters, Priscilla Good of Roanoke, VA, Teresa Callis and husband Tracy of Ballard, WV, Allison Wikle, and Melanie Mann, both of Myrtle Beach, SC; nine grandchildren, Lauren Good, Courtney Ogden, Ethan Good, Tiffany Galligher, Dylan, Alicia, and Amy Wikle, and Shane and Kacie Mann; eight great grandchildren, Anessa, Kyler, Charolette, and Jackson Sauer, Oliva, Adalyn, and Kaid Mann, and Archer Ogden; two brothers, Than Alexander of Akron, OH, and Clayborne Alexander and wife Shirley of Max Meadows, VA; one sister in law, Lillian Reynolds and husband Bud of Peterstown, WV; special friends John Prince and Billy Goines; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00PM on Sunday, July 10, 2022, at the Broyles-Shrewsbury Funeral Home Chapel in Peterstown, WV, with Pastor Dave Spencer officiating. Burial will follow at the Peterstown Cemetery in Rich Creek, VA. Visitation will be held from 2:00PM until time of services on Sunday at the funeral home.
