Moody, John Robert

John (Robert) Moody, 38, of Radford, Va., son of Anita and Richard Moody of Hampton died Friday, May 11, 2007.

Robert was a native of the Hampton before moving to the Radford area where he graduated from Virginia Tech in 2000 with a degree in History and also earned a degree in Business from Old Dominion University. He was employed by Dish Network as a Technical Advisor in the Radford area.

Survivors include his parents, Anita and Richard Moody; his brother, Alan and his sister-in-law Cami Moody; his nephew, Steven; maternal grandparents, James and Sara White of Burlington, N.C.; several aunts, uncles, other family members; and four special friends, Brian, Kathy, Lizann and Shanon.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at W. J. Smith & Son Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with burial following in Parklawn Memorial Park. Arrangements by W. J. Smith & Son Funeral Home, Newport News, Va., 757-596-6911.
