Morris, Richard Irvin

Richard Irvin Morris, 54, of Fairlawn, died Thursday, May 9, 2007. He was born February 4, 1953 in Pulaski, and was the son of the late Elizabeth Rigney Morris and Irvin Conduff Morris.

Richard was a long-time employee of Fralin and Waldron haveing worked in maintenance at Willow Woods Apartments in Radford. In addtion to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Sandra Morris Tromblay.

He is survived by his wife: Rachel Ferguson Morris of Fairlawn: two sons; Nicholas Morris and his wife Terri of Shawsville, and Matthew Morris of Fairlawn: three step-daughters; Rita Gartlan of Beaufort, SC, Christina Wick of Charlotte, NC, and Brandy Grundahl of Blacksburg. Also survived by eight grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday May 11, 2007 at SEAGLES. Visiting will be held Friday from 6 until 8 p.m. at SEAGLES. www.seaglefuneral home.com.
