Alderman, Clayton

Heaven gained an angel like no other – a loving husband, father, granddad, great-granddad, brother took his final journey home on April 5, 2022. He was surrounded by family and close friends during his final day.

Clayton was a mechanic of 60 years and was a fan of racing and loved John Wayne like no other.

He was preceded in death by his father, Gordon Alderman; mother, Roenie Alderman; and siblings, Maryln Marie Alderman, Christine Linkous, and Alvin Jones.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Goldie Alderman; siblings, Doris Doyle, Racheal Hale, Barbra Altizer, Helen and Charles Odell, Tommy and Dena Alderman, Daniel Alderman, Darlene and Mike Worrell, David and Teresa Alderman; sister-in-law, Alice Jones; children, Sara and Dave Gottleib, Sherry Alderman, Bucky and Lena Alderman, Kim and Bobby Justice; special daughters, Stephanie and Phillip Marshall and Felicia and Chris Bibb. Clayton is also survived by his grandkids, Henry and Barbra Walker, Krista Gregg, Dillon Justice, Amanda Macy; great-grandchildren, Katie and Rusty Marshall, Abbie, Christian, Riley Bibb, Jonathan Harris Christopher Walker; brother-in-law, Junior Linkous; as well as lots of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Saturday, April 9, 2022, from 1-2 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home. Funeral Services will begin at 2 p.m. in the Chapel with Pastor David Neal officiating. Interment will follow in Huffville Cemetery.
