amem_lighthouse.jpgShelba Fay Cox, 87, of Willis, passed away Tuesday, May 8, 2007. He was preceded in death by his parents, Cicero and Bessie Gay Cox; brother, Brady Cox; and sisters, Hazel Scaggs and Izola Moye.

Survivors include brothers, Elba Cox (Twin), Archie Cox, Elwood Cox, all of Willis; sisters and brothers-in-law, Josephine Scaggs, Riner, Ovada and Marvie Weeks, Floyd, Agnes and Shelley Montgomery, Radford; special cousin, Bud Cox, Willis; special friends, Leslie Fisher, Riner, Paul Wade, Willis, Joe Reed, Willis.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, May 10, 2007 at the Maberry Funeral Home Chapel, Floyd, with the Rev. Dewayne Troutt, the Rev. Harold Cox and the Rev. Joe Cox officiating. Interment will follow at Irenia Mayberry Cox Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Maberry Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Indian Valley Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 257, Floyd, Va. 24091.
