Newby, Roy (Phillip)

Roy (Phillip) Newby, 54, of Christiansburg, passed away Monday, February 10, 2014. Born February 24, 1959, in Baltimore, Md. He was the son of the late John E. and Margie Newby. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, John E. Newby Jr. “Phillip” enjoyed playing his guitar and spending time with his family. Left behind to cherish his memory are his son, Bradley Phillip Newby; two surviving sisters, Brenda Nagle and Pamela Akers and numerous extended family members and friends.
