Montgomery, Peggy Southern

Peggy Southern Montgomery, age 70 of Dublin, died Monday April 30, 2007 at her residence.

She was born October 7, 1936 in Winston-Salem, NC, and was the daughter of the late Malgie Nicholson Southern and Earl Dewey Southern. She was a former shipping clerk for Electroplate-Rite Corp. in Dublin.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers; Little William Southern, and Earl Dewey Southern, Jr., and a sister, Jettie Ruth Southern Manning.

She is survived by two sons; Jimmy William Williams of Dublin, and Mitchell “Mitch” Lewis Williams of Olen, NC: two daughters; Patricia “Joann” Montgomery Graybeal of Pulaski Co., and Rose Marie Williams Brown of Dublin: one sister; Luna Seabright Southern Benge of Statesville, NC. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday May 2, 2007 at 3:30 p.m. at Thomas M. Seagle & Sons, Pulaski with the Rev. Willie Overton officiating. Interment will follow in Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin. Visiting will be anytime Tuesday after 4:00 p.m. at Thomas M.
