Bailey, Betty Way Ratcliff

Betty Way Ratcliff Bailey, age 76, of Salem, went to be with the Lord on Monday, January 27, 2014, at Roanoke Memorial Hospital. Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her. She was born in McDowell Co., WV. on April 17, 1937 to the late Charlie and Bessie Jones Way, also preceded in death by her husband George Ratcliff, son, Pete Ratcliff, two grandsons, Daniel Ratcliff and little Kevin Bruce Alley, Jr. She is survived by her, daughters and son-in-law, Deborah Ratcliff Alley and husband, Kevin, of Salem, Crystal Ratcliff Early, Shawsville, Sons and daughter-in-law, Donald Ratcliff and wife, Wyona, of Vinton, Billy Joe Ratcliff, Plum Creek, sisters, Mary Gunter, of Olive Branch, MS., Phyllis Baker, Pulaski, Dolly Barlow, Stuart Draft, brothers, Charles Way, Bobby Way and Danny Way, all of Riner, eight grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, January 31, 2014 at 2:00pm in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Everette Shepherd officiating. Interment will follow in the Sunset Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00pm Thursday evening at the McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Dr. SW., Blacksburg. Arrangements by McCoy Funeral Home., Blacksburg.
