June Gilmore Smart Dobbins, 83, passed away Monday, January 27, 2014 at her home in Radford. She was a member of the West Radford Church of God and a nurse’s aide with Radford Hospital. Survivors include her husband of 66 years, Forest Granville Dobbins; sons and daughters-in-law, Darrell and Susan Dobbins of Christiansburg, Freddy and Rebecca Dobbins of FL, and Jerel Dobbins of Radford; brother, Joe Smart, Jr.; sisters, Dolly Hedge, Molita Boyd, Shirley Crabtree and Dorothy McCoy; 7 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 30, 2014 at 1:00 pm at the West Radford Church of God with Rev. Jim Walker and Rev. Danny Newman officiating. Interment will follow in the Highland Memory Gardens in Dublin. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 11:00 am at the church.
