Peters, Maxine Hoback

Maxine Hoback Peters, 84 of Check, passed away on Tuesday, October 12, 2021. She is preceded in death by her husband, Shirley Peters; sons, Rodney Peters and Terry Peters; daughters, Elizabeth Hodges and Cindy Waldron; and sister & brother-in-law, Polly & George Bowles.

She is survived by her daughters & sons-in-law, Susan Pittman, Patsy & Grover Stump, Steve Hodges and David Waldron; grandchildren, Chris Peters, Adam Pittman, Faye Erchull, Lee Hodges, Bernice Dyne, Patricia Stump, Cleveland Stump, Chad Waldron, Kyle Waldron, Greg Peters, and Renee Vance; 25 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and brother, Norman “Buck” Hoback.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 16, 2021 in the Maberry Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Chuck Thomas officiating. The family will receive friends from Noon until 2 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
