Sheppard, Maxwell Frank

Maxwell Frank Edward, age 80, of Christiansburg died Saturday, December 21, 2013 at Radford Health and Rehab.  He was born in Montgomery County, Va. on May 2, 1933 to the late William Byrd and Carrie Jane Stanger Sheppard.  He was also preceded in death by his children, Frank Everett Sheppard, George William Sheppard, Teresa Marlene Sheppard, Susan Jane Sheppard; two sisters, Lillian and Girldean Sheppard.  He is survived by his wife, Sally Orlina Linkous Sheppard of Christiansburg.  Funeral services will be conducted Monday, December 23, 2013 at 1:00 pm in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jerry Sloss officiating.  Interment will follow in the Belmont Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 12:00-1:00 pm Monday at the McCoy Funeral Home, Blacksburg.
