Duncan, Elizabeth Slusher

Elizabeth Slusher Duncan, 87, of Blacksburg, Va, passed away peacefully December 15, 2013 at Pulaski Health Care Center, Pulaski, Va. She was preceded in death by her husband Earnest Duncan. She retired in 1989 after 45 years of service at Virginia Tech as a secretary. Her extended family would like to express their gratitude to her many caregivers, nurses, staff and Dr. Richards T. Williams for their loving care.She loved everyone for the smallest act of kindness. Graveside services will be held Thursday, December 19, 2013 at 11:00 am in Jacksonville Cemetery, Floyd. with Rev. Roy Turpin officiating. It was her wishes that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Blacksburg Rescue Squad, 200 Progress Street, NE, Blacksburg, VA, 24060.
