O’Dell, Dorothy Foutz

Dorothy Virginia Foutz O’Dell, age 87 of Hiwassee passed away Friday, November 22, 2013 at her home. Born February 18, 1926 in Bedford, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Warren Lafayette Foutz and Carula Belle Lemon Foutz. Her husband, Malchom Clarence O’Dell, and three brothers, Warren Foutz, Linwood Foutz and James Foutz also preceded her in death. Surviving- Daughters- Judy O’Dell Grubb and husband, Bobby-Snowville, Joan O’Dell Aliff and husband, Tommy- Hiwassee. Nine Grandchildren- Treasa Rigney, and husband, Cecil – Pulaski, Tammy Lytton and husband, Wayne-Pulaski, Bobbie Jean Wright and husband, Matthew-Gatesville, TX., Amy Price and husband, Justin-Radford, Joni Pennington- Hiwassee, Selena May and husband, Kenny- Plum Creek, Allison Kincaid and husband, Jeff- Bland, Amy Pennington- Galax, Jesse Pennington- Pearisburg. Fifteen Great Grandchildren. Five Great Great Grandchildren. Sisters- Bessie Foutz O’Dell- Dublin, Jean Wilson and husband, Larry- AZ Funeral services will be held Monday 2:00 p.m., November 25, 2013 in the Bower Funeral Home Chapel, Pulaski with Pastor Ruth Ann Henley officiating. Burial will follow in the O’Dell-Moore Cemetery, Hiwassee. Visitation will be held Sunday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Bower Funeral Home, Pulaski.
