Hudson, Stephanie Dawn

Stephanie Dawn Hudson, 44 of Narrows, went home to be with the Lord Thursday, November 14th, 2013 at LewisGale Hospital Montgomery in Blacksburg. A lifelong resident of Giles County, she was born on October 6th, 1969, and was the daughter of the late Arnold Matthew (Shorty) and Juanita Faye Blankenship Hudson. In addition to her mother and father, she was preceded in death by a brother, Kermit Matthew (Huck) Hudson; and a fiancée that she loved dearly, Randy H. Blankenship; grandparents Kermit Fitchue Blankenship, Zelma Henderson Blankenship, Arthur Hudson and Pauline (Polly) Hudson. Stephanie was an avid Washington Redskins fan and was a wonderful friend to all who knew her. Left to cherish her memory are a sister, Brandi Robertson of Narrows; two nieces, Carol Cumbee and Daniele Cumbee; a nephew, Logan Hudson; three aunts, Reta Kellison, Brenda Myers, Juanita Croy; an uncle, Roland Hudson; many cousins and special friends; and her special cat, Buffy. Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 16th, 2013 at 2 PM in the Chapel of Riffe’s Funeral Service in Narrows with Rev. Chris Stansell officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Narrows. The family will receive friends at Riffe’s Funeral Service Saturday from 12 noon until just prior to the service.
