Catherine Nanny East, age 73 of Dublin passed away Thursday, November 14, 2013 at Lewis Gale Hospital, Pulaski. Born April 21, 1940 in Hiwassee, she was the daughter of the late Lewis East and Rhoda Chrisley East Sutphin. Her Daughter, Susie Mae Cook, and a number of Sisters and Brothers also preceded her in death. Surviving- Children- Robin Louise Griffin- Dublin, Janice Leigh Dalton and husband, Gary Wayne Dalton- Hiwassee, Patty Ann Barns-Dublin, and Cecil Keith- Dublin. Five Grandchildren- Six Great Grandchildren- Brother- Alvin Wayne Sutphin and wife, Gail Sutphin- Newbern, Sister- Treva Clark- Orlando, FL. Funeral services will be held Monday 2:00 p.m., November 18, 2013 in the Bower Funeral Home Chapel, Pulaski with Rev. J. B.Shelton officiating. Burial will follow in the Trail Family Cemetery, Hiwassee. The family will receive friends Monday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at Bower Funeral Home.
