VIARS, Sally Ratcliffe

Sally Ratcliffe Viars, 59, of Pearisburg, Va., passed away Tuesday morning at her home.

Mrs. Viars was born on June 13, 1946 in Pearisburg and was a daughter of the late Wirt Jackson Ratcliffe and Zenobia Davis Ratcliffe. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Luther Robertson; and five brothers, Luther, Budley, Cecil, Tommy and Claude Ratcliffe. Mrs. Viars was a former employee of Carilion Giles Memorial Hospital in Pearisburg.

She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Todd and Pam Robertson of Christiansburg; two grandsons, Zach and Luke Robertson of Christiansburg; two sisters and brother-in-laws, Bonnie and Clyde Ratcliff of Pearisburg, Frances and Billy Farley of Pearisburg; four brothers, O’Dell and Mary Ratcliffe of Pearisburg, Oakley Ratcliffe of Pearisburg, Roger and Brenda Ratcliffe of Salem and Roy and Ellen Ratcliffe of Princeton, W.Va.

Funeral services will be conducted at the Givens Funeral Chapel at 2 p.m. Friday, February 10, 2006 with the Rev. Wayman Creger officiating with burial following in the Ratcliffe Family Cemetery in Pearisburg.
