Gagliano, Anne Finley

Anne Finley Gagliano, 33, of Rockville, Md., formerly of Blacksburg, died September 10, 2013. Born in Danville on July 21, 1980, she was the daughter of the Rev. William M. Finley and the Rev. Jeanne Torrence Finley, of Blacksburg. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, David Gagliano; and her daughter, Adelina Finley Gagliano. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, September 21, 2013, at Blacksburg United Methodist Church, 111 Church Street, Blacksburg, VA 24060. An earlier service was held in Rockville, Md., on September 14, 2013. Anne was a graduate of the College of William and Mary and received a masters degree from Virginia Tech. She taught in the Bronx, NYC, at Christiansburg Primary School, and most recently first grade at Bethesda Elementary School, Bethesda, Md. In lieu of flowers, Anne requested that donations be made to either the American Cancer Society , P.O. Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718, or to the Blue Ridge Cancer Care Relay For Life Team.
