Womack, Elizabeth Davis

Elizabeth Davis Womack, 82, of Check, died Tuesday, September 3, 2013, at Richfield Nursing Home. She was born in Montgomery County May 24, 1931, to the late James Washington and Julina Hall Davis. She is preceded in death by her husband, Kemper Womack; sister, Chloe Allen; brothers, John Henry, Walter, Cleve, Daniel, Everette, and Gold Davis. She is survived by her daughter, Frances Marie Dowdy; sons, James Womack, Charlie Womack; three stepgranddaughters; stepgrandson, Daniel Womack; nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Saturday, September 7, 2013, in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Wilson Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the McCoy Funeral Home, Blacksburg. Arrangements by McCoy Funeral Home.
