Davis, Thelma Marie

Thelma Marie Davis, 75, of Christiansburg, died on Wednesday, September 4, 2013, at Heritage Hall Health Care. She was born on June 30, 1938, to the late Glenn and Janie Wheeling Hall. She was preceded in death by her former husband, Spencer Norwood Davis; special companion, Don Hoback; one granddaughter, Jessica Dawn Davis; and one grandson, Ricky Duncan. She is survived by her daughters, Karen K. Proco, of Christiansburg, and Judy Gay and Larry Crews, of Brunswick, Ga.; sons, Eddie and Penny Davis, of Shawsville, and Dale and Sandy Davis, of Riner; sisters and brother-in-law, Mary Ellen Johnson, of Shawsville, and Betty Lou and Ed Hendricks, of Indiana; brothers and sisters-in-law, Ottie and Edith Hall, of Blacksburg, Cecil and Pat Hall, of Shawsville, Elmer and Mamie Hall, of Christiansburg, and Glenn Jr. and Susie Hall, of Roanoke; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Friday, September 6, 2013, in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with the Pastor John Collins officiating. Interment will follow in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Christiansburg. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday evening, September 5, 2013, at the McCoy Funeral Home, Blacksburg, Va.
