Perfater, Shelia Lester

Shelia Lester Perfater, 59, of Blacksburg, went to her heavenly home on Friday, August 23, 2013, at Montgomery Regional Hospital after a long battle with diabetes. She was born in Roanoke in 1954. She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl D. and Margaret Stanley Lester; sister, Judy Lester Smith; and brother, Robert Dillard. She is survived by her husband, David Perfater and brother, David Lester (Sandra) of Valley Mills, Texas. Special thanks and appreciation to Dr. Lard and the staff at Montgomery Regional, PCU staff and to her friends, Clarence and Marie Rice, of Blacksburg, Mabel Elmore, and Tracy Robertson, both of Roanoke, who stood by her through her long illness.
