Nester, Kemel Raymond

Kemel Raymond Nester, age 81, of Pulaski, died early Monday morning August 26, 2013 at Highland Ridge Rehabilitation Center.  He was born on April 17, 1932, and was the son of the late Guida Dalton Nester and Otis Nester.  He was a member along with his wife Willie, of Anderson Memorial Presbyterian Church.  He was a retired employee of AT&T, and was a veteran of the Korean War having served in the United States Army and the United States Air Force.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers.  He is survived by his devoted wife, Willie Dean Asper Nester:  One brother;  Talmadge Nester and his wife June of Pulaski:  and a sister;  Virginia Smith of Draper.  Graveside Military Honors will be held at the Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery in Dublin, on Thursday August 29, 2013 at 11:00 a.m., along with The Rev.
