Mansell, Iva Jean

memorialIva Jean Dalton Mansell, 67, of Dublin, passed peacefully at 3:30 a.m. on Sunday, July 21, 2013, surrounded by her family at her home.

She is survived by her husband, Chuck Mansell; several half siblings; her daughter, Katrina Mansell, of Dublin; her son, Charles Mansell and his wife, Michelle, of Carlisle, Pa.; her son, Stephen Mansell and his wife, Mandy, of Blackstone; seven grandchildren, Brandon, Brittany, Bryan, Dylan, Nikki, Tyler, and Elise; and five great-grandchildren. Iva was born December 23, 1945, in Pulaski, to Ivan H. Dalton and Bobbie Jean Kirkner Dalton. She is preceded in death by her parents and her stepfather Carl L. Dalton. Family and friends were Iva’s fervor and joy. She loved to host and attend family gatherings, treasuring the moments with the little ones. In addition to her family she cared for many animals over the years. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Pulaski County Humane Society. A memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday July 27, 2013, at Stevens Funeral Home located 815 Randolph Avenue, Pulaski. Conducting the service will be Pastors David Tripp and Teresa Tolbert. The family would like to extend a thank you for all the support and prayers from friends and the community in her final days.
