Roberts, Millard Carlyle

Millard Carlyle Roberts (Carlyle), 80, from the Walton Community, passed away Sunday, July 14, 2013. He was a member of Lighthouse Family Ministries. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Mae McGuire Roberts, Parents, William Wint and Larma Mae Perkins Roberts, daughter, Tammy Roberts, grandson, Garrett McCoy, and brothers, James Harden, Willie B., Garnett Henry, Morris and Donald Roberts.

Survivors include his seven children and their spouses, Donna and John Miller, of Christiansburg, Audie and Kippy Roberts, of Riner, Lisa Roberts, of Christiansburg, Dennis Roberts, of Floyd, Vickie and Greg McCoy, of Radford, Sherrie and Jody Keith, of Floyd, and Melanie Ratcliffe and her special friend, Kerrey Valle, of Christiansburg; 14 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The family would like to commend daughter Sherri Keith, and Cheryl Walters, Eden Conner, Emma Quinn and New River Valley Medical Care Unit and Palliative Care Staff. Funeral services will be held at noon Tuesday, July 16, 2013, at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford with the Rev. Buford Linkous officiating. Interment will follow in the Hickman Cemetery in Pulaski County. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Heart Association or the Alzheimer’s Foundation.
