Dove Jr., Frank Jackson

Frank Jackson Dove Jr., 86, of Blacksburg, died Sunday, July 14, 2013, at Lewis Gale Hospital-Montgomery. He was born in Christiansburg, Va. on July 26, 1926 to the late Frank Jackson Sr. and Minnie Sue Smith Dove. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Juanita Kent Dove, a son, Paul Jackson Dove and a grandson, Michael Dove.

Mr. Dove retired from Hercules, Inc. with over 30 years of service. He was a loving man with a sparkle in his eye. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Janice Marie and Leonard “Len” Bieber, of Norfolk; son and daughter-in-law, Charles Edward and Jackie Dove, of Blacksburg; daughter-in-law, Diane Dove, of Blacksburg; sister, Bessie Kitts, of Bristol, Tenn.; grandsons, Andy Dove, Eddie Dove, Heath Moison; granddaughter, Michelle Burnette; great-grandchildren, Michaela Dove, Nikki Dove, Bryanna Moison, Kaylee Moison, Will Burnette, Abbie Burnette; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, July 18, 2013 at 1 p.m. in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. John Hopkins officiating. Interment will follow in the Westview Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday evening at the McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Drive, SW, Blacksburg.
