Griffith, Walter Green

Walter Green Griffith, 88, of Radford, died Tuesday, March 27, 2007 in Wheatland Hills Retirement Center. He was a retired Millwright.

Surviving are his wife, Macie D. Griffith, Radford; a daughter and son-in-law, Fern and Don Martin, San Jose, California; three sons and daughters-in-law, Roger and Barbara Griffith, Radford, Bill and Deborah Griffith, Dublin, Tim and Jeannie Griffith, Christiansburg; five grandsons and one granddaughter also survive.

Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Friday at DeVilbiss Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Barry Van Steenburg and the Rev. Eddie Kendall officiating. Interment will follow in Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin. VFW Post #30 will conduct Military Graveside Services. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the DeVilbiss Funeral Home, Radford.
