Lucas, Darryl Ross

Darryl Ross Lucas, 59, of Blacksburg and Roanoke, died Monday, July 1, 2013, at Roanoke Memorial Hospital. He was born in Baltimore, Md. on November 6, 1953, to the late Minor and Edith Carter Lucas. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Danny Ray Lucas.

He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Sandy and Gary Bland, of Christiansburg; special friend, Debbie Dove, of Blacksburg; nieces, Heather Johnston and Christy Bland; great-nieces, Courtney Cox and Whitney Smith; and great-nephews, Cody Johnston and Camryn Douglas.

At Darryl’s request, there will be no services.
