Terhune, Gloria Alyce

Gloria was born in Boston, Massachusetts on August 9, 1926 to Arthur and Adelaide Zerella. She passed away on June 23, 2013 at the age of 86. Gloria is survived by her husband of 66 years, Bob Terhune of Blacksburg; her son and his wife, Scott and Jeanie Terhune of Houston, Texas; her daughter and her husband, Sandra and John Randolph of Blacksburg; her five grandchildren and their spouses, Jason Randolph, Watsun Randolph and Tiffany Parker, Peter and Lindsay Randolph, Kendra and Joel Turba, Kaelyn Terhune; and her two great-grandchildren, William and Ellie Turba.

Gloria was an avid volunteer throughout her life. She loved to play bridge. She was always quick with a smile that brightened up people’s day. Gloria’s family would like to express their thanks to everyone at the Kroonjte Nursing Home and Medi Home Health and Hospice who were involved with Gloria’s care. Also many thanks to her private caregiver, Lynn Bentley. In lieu of flowers the family requests that you consider making a donation to the Alzheimer’s Association .
