Owens, Mary Ruth McGrady

Mary Ruth McGrady Owens, 89, of Dublin, passed away Saturday morning June 15, 2013 in Wheatland Hills, Hillsville. Born in Barren Springs on February 22, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Herman S. and Flora Frost McGrady. She was also preceded in death by her husband Charles H. Owens Jr.

She was a retired LPN and a member of the Glenwood United Methodist Church. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Charles and Kathy Hubbard and Steven and Donna Hubbard; brother and his wife, Jack and Mary McGrady; grandchildren, Kim and Arek Moss, Sarah and Jym Baker, Beth Hubbard, Katie Hubbard and Wyatt Hubbard; four great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at 2 p.m. from the Stevens Funeral Home Chapel. Entombment will follow in the Highland Memory Gardens Mausoleum, Dublin. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from noon until the service hour. Arrangements by Stevens Funeral Home, Pulaski.
