Deweese, Marie Anabelle Hylton

Marie Anabelle Hylton Deweese, 90, of Floyd, passed away on Saturday, June 8, 2013. She is preceded in death by her parents, Sidney S. Hylton Sr. and Lorena Coleman Hylton; husband, Charles V. Deweese; sons, Gary Deweese, Kenneth Deweese; brothers, Ray Hylton, Marvin Hylton, and Sidney Hylton Jr.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Patty and Jerry Long of Floyd; son and daughter-in-law, Guy and Mary Deweese of Bramwell, W.Va.; brother, George Hylton of Hiwassee; sisters and brother-in-law, Thelma and Joe Smith of Floyd, Janet Young of Anchorage, Alaska; one grandson; two great-granddaughters; special niece, Bonnie Smith and husband Daryle; special adopted granddaughter, Martha Turpin. Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at the Maberry Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Steve Lackey officiating. Interment to follow in Jacksonville Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Critical Care Unit at NRV Medical Center.
