Repass, Margaret Joan Goodman

Margaret Joan Goodman Repass, of Blacksburg, died Saturday, June 8, 2013, at her home. She was born and raised in Burkes Gardens. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Thomas Goodman and Helen Perry Goodman; and brothers, William “T” Goodman, Alan Byrd Goodman and wife, Marie. She graduated from Dansmore Business School and retired from Dupont. She was a member of Blacksburg Presbyterian Church.

She is survived by her husband, Richard J. Repass, of Blacksburg; daughter, Elaine Repass, of Staunton; sister, Tommy Coleman, of Collinsville; stepchildren, Lynda Morgan, of South Hadley, Maine, Steve and Sallie Morgan, of Greensboro, N.C., Mike and Linda Morgan, Piedmont, S.C., and five stepgrandchildren; brothers- in-laws and sisters-in-laws, Curtis and Judy Repass, of Rock Falls, Ill., Peggy Greene, of Burke, Louise Wagner, of Westminister, Md., Ann Frock, of Hampstead, Md., Betty Jean Felly, N. Augusta, S.C., Freda Repass, Orlando, Fla., ; many nieces and nephews; and special friends, Olivia, Becky, and Mary Helen. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 12, 2013, in the Central Lutheran Church, Burkes Garden with the Rev. Barbara Krumm officiating. Interment will follow in the Central Lutheran Church Cemetery, Burkes Garden. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. prior to the service Wednesday at the Central Lutheran Church.
