Ganoe, Thomas Richard

Thomas Richard Ganoe, 82, of Rich Creek, passed away Thursday, June 6, 2013, at the Riverview Nursing Home, Rich Creek. Born March 31, 1931, at Rich Creek, he was the son of the late George William and Pantha Walker Ganoe. Tom was a United States Army and a U. S. Navy veteran.

He retired from the Pulaski Furniture Corp. as a purchasing agent with 32 years of service. He was a member of the First Church of God, Rich Creek. In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by two brothers, Owen Junior Ganoe and Edmund Ganoe; and two sisters, Frances G. Law and Ovella Mariotti. Survivors include a special niece, Anita Cumbee, of Rich Creek; special friends, Harrell and Leona Fagg, of Pulaski; and several other nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday June 9, 2013, at the Broyles-Shrewsbury Funeral Home Chapel in Peterstown, W.Va., with Pastor Bernice Warner officiating. Burial will follow at the Sunrise Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Rich Creek. Friends may call from 1 p.m. until time of services at the funeral home.
