Pace, Nora St. Clair

Nora St. Clair Pace, 90, of Crestview, Florida, passed away March 12, 2007 at Destin Healthcare in Destin, Florida. She was born in Montgomery County, Virginia on March 20, 1916.

Nora was the dining room manager at Gargano’s Italian Restaurant in Albany, Georgia for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard M. Pace, Jr.; her parents, John Henry and Itha Doyle St. Clair; and her grandson, Richard Mears Pace IV.

Nora is survived by her sons, Claude Emory Burkholder of Roanoke, Va. and Richard Mears Pace III of East Falmouth, Mass.; daughters, Mary Margaret Burkholder of Elon, N.C., Claudette Genvieve Doiron of Warwick, R.I., Phyllis Lorraine St. Clair of Knoxville, Tenn., and Anne Elizabeth Maher of Crestview, Fla.; sister, Ora Wade of Westminster, Md.; 20 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, March 29, 2007 at Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, Virginia beginning at 10 a.m. Funeral Choices of Chantilly is entrusted with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer’s Association would be appreciated.
