Brown, Holland Arthur

Mr. Holland Arthur (Tony) Brown was called from his earthly home to be with his Heavenly Father on Wednesday, May 29, 2013 at Lewis Gale Pulaski Hospital after a short illness. He was born June 2, 1954 to the late Frank Brown Sr. and Elaine Brown. Tony entered the United States Marines on April 11, 1978 and was honorably discharged June 19, 1982. He held many jobs, before his health declined. He worked for AT&T (formerly of Radford), L.A. Joe’s and Futures. Tony is predeceased by his father, Frank Brown Sr., and his brother, Frank Brown Jr. Tony was a loving son to his mother, Mrs. Elaine Brown, loving father to his two daughters, Ms. Jessica Finely, and Ms. Kesha Finely and to his one son, Janiale Turner, all of Pulaski, Virginia. Tony is also survived and loved by his three sisters, Mrs. Ruth (Scott) Lewis, Ms. Lynn (Joe) Brown, of Radford, and Ms. Natalie Brown, of Dublin; three brothers, Steve (Lorraine) Brown, Stephanie Brown, and Allen Brown, all of Pulaski; two special aunts, Mrs. Katherine Lewis, Pulaski, and Mrs. Esther Williams, Roanoke; Special and devoted friend, Ms. Elizabeth Dean; a host of grandchildren; nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends. Tony will be remembered by his good deeds, the kindness he showed to others and that beautiful ” SMILE ” he gave to all. Funeral Services will take place on Tuesday, June 4, 2013 at 1 p.m. at Randolph Avenue United Methodist Church, 1607 Randolph Avenue, Pulaski, Virginia 24301. The family will receive friends one hour before the services. Interment will be at the Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery, Dublin, VA (5550 Bagging Plant Road, Dublin, Virginia 24084).
