Scaggs, Reva Bishop

Reva Bishop Scaggs, 82, of Floyd, passed away on Wednesday, May 15, 2013. She is preceded in death by her husband, Edgar G. Scaggs; parents, Troy and Verna Cox Bishop; and brother, Nelson Bishop. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Carson and Virginia Scaggs; her grandson, Adam Scaggs and wife, Caitlyn; great-granddaughter, Harper Grace; sister and brother-in-law, Zelwood and William Weddle; brothers and sisters-in-law, Marlin and Nita Bishop, Jerry and Iola Bishop, and Gordon Bishop; sister-in-law, Vera Bishop; two stepgrandsons; five stepgreat-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; special friend and caregiver, Nanette West; special friends, Betty Gregg, Vera M. Hollandsworth, Peggy Bishop; and the classmates of 1950. Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Friday, May 17, 2013, at the Maberry Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Roy Turpin and Pastor Mike Woody officiating. Interment to follow in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, May 16, 2013, at the funeral home.
