Gene Eastridge

October 4, 1947 ~ April 12, 2013 Our sincere thanks to everyone for the kind phone calls, cards, and flowers over the past few weeks. But mostly I want to thank everyone in the community who showed kindness and friendship to my husband “Gene” or “Al” while he was alive. Despite his declining health, his main enjoyment in life was to get out and chat with people, from the eldest to the tiniest babies. He loved to share a joke or a story, and loved to compliment a lady or a child or a pet. If your paths crossed he took time for your acquaintance no matter who you were, and if you returned the friendship and acceptance, then that meant the world to him.
