Conner, Darin Matthew

Darin Matthew Conner, 6, of Pulaski, left this earthly life on Tuesday, May 7, 2013, to be a little angel in heaven. Darin was born July 22, 2006, in Blacksburg, and was in the first grade at Pulaski Elementary School. He was a loving little boy and much loved by his family and friends. The family would like to thank everyone for the outpouring of love and support they have received. He is survived by his parents, Matt and Sandy Conner; brother, Dylan Thomas Conner, Pulaski; grandparents, Billy and Sue Conner, Pulaski; Leroy and Lola Lytton, Dublin; many aunts, uncles and cousins. A special thank you to great-aunt, Diane Mabry. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, May 11, 2013, from the Stevens Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Terrie Sternberg officiating. Entombment will follow in the Highland Memory Gardens Mausoleum, Dublin. Visiting will be Friday evening at Stevens Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes memorials be made to the National Bank, c/o Darin Conner Memorial Fund, 250 Washington Ave., Pulaski, VA 24301. Jesus said, “Suffer the little children to come unto me…..for of such is the Kingdom of God.”
