Hurley, Geneva Tabor
Geneva Tabor Hurley, 83, of Mulberry Drive, Christiansburg, formerly of Princeton, W.Va., died Monday morning, April 22, 2013, at Radford Health & Rehab Center in Radford. Born August 26, 1929, at Thacker, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Clarence Gill and Lilly Griffith Gill. Geneva was a member of the Rich Creek Baptist Church at Spanishburg, W.Va. She formerly owned and operated Hurley’s Restaurant in Princeton, W.Va. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Curtis Tabor and Edward E. Hurley Sr.; along with a son, Charles E. Hurley. Survivors include her children, Gary and Connie Tabor, Larry and Joyce Tabor, Donna Jo and Phil Lambert, Edward and Lyn Hurley Jr.; 10 grandchildren; and a host of great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at noon on Thursday, April 25, 2013, at Monte Vista Park Cemetery at Green Valley with Pastor Ralph Calfee officiating. Friends may visit the family Thursday morning from 10:30 a.m. until leaving for the cemetery at 11:45 a.m. at the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton.
