Gunn, Jean White

Jean White Gunn, age 86 of Dublin, died early Saturday Morning April 13, 2013 at Highland Ridge Rehabilitation Center in Dublin. She was born on October 1, 1926 in Peoria, Ill, and was the daughter of the late Maxville White and Mildred Look White. She was a long-time member of the New Dublin Presbyterian Church, were she served as a part-time secretary, was a Deacon, was Clerk of Session beginning in 1974, and was treasurer of church for a period of time. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roland (Pete) Davis Gunn, and her sister, Ruth Gillespie. She is survived by her four sons; Roland Gunn, Jr. of Burke, VA, Robert M. Gunn, of Dublin, Ralph W. Gunn of Dublin, and Randal B. Gunn and his wife Paula of New Market, MD. A memorial service will be held Tuesday April 16, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the New Dublin Presbyterian Church. There will be no visitation. A reception will be held in the church immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes that memorials be made to the New Dublin Presbyterian Church Cemetery Fund.
