Lawson, Robert Lee

Robert Lee Lawson, 84, formerly of Thornspring Road (Novell Loop) in Pulaski, and residing at Pinewood Dr., in Draper with his son went to be with the Lord on Monday, March 25, 2013. Robert was born on August 31, 1928, in Draper. He enjoyed a long career with Burlington Industries as a long distance driver for 36 years. He was preceded in death by his wife Peggy; his mother, Willie Chatman Lawson; his father, Floyd Neal Lawson; his son, Gary Lawson; his brother, Troy Lawson; and sister, Martha Adams. Surviving are sons, Jackie Lawson and Kelly Dame, and Carl Paschal and Shirley; daughter, Karen Inge and husband, William (Bill) Inge; daughters-in-law, Mandy Lawson and Frances Lawson; sister, Mary Alderman and husband, Archie; and grandsons, Patrick Lawson, Jason Lawson and wife, Ashley, Kacey Smith and wife, Natasha, Landon Lawson, and Dillon Paschal; granddaughters, Kendra Huff and husband, Tony, and Jessica Collie and husband, David; great-grandsons, Alex Lawson, Andrew Collie and Parker Huff; great-granddaughters, Karleigh Huff and Isabella Lawson; nephews, Mike Alderman and wife, Lynn, and Donald Adams; niece, Debbie Boyd and husband, Stephen; and several great-nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at 11 a.m. on Saturday March 30, 2013, with the funeral immediately following at the Refreshing Center (formerly Bob White Blvd. COG) on Bob White Blvd. in Pulaski, with the Rev. Carl White and the Rev. Bobby Lorton officiating. Robert will be laid to rest at Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin.
