Link, Christopher Neal

Christopher Neal Link, 34, of Pembroke, Va. departed this life Sunday morning, March 11, 2007, at his home on Cascade Drive.

Neal was born in Pearisburg, Va., on January 21, 1973, and had been employed in the fast food restaurant business in Beckley, W.Va. before returning to Giles County, Va.

He leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Carolyn F. Link, of the home in Pembroke; a brother, Jason Matthew Link, of Narrows, Va.; his maternal grandparents, Elizabeth and Melvin Dowdy, of Pembroke, Dorsey and Vonnie Link, of Narrows; an aunt, Mary Davis, of the home in Pembroke; and special cousins, Bruce and Crystal Davis.

Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. on Tuesday, March 13, 2007, in The Kendall Funeral Home at 605 Snidow Street, Pembroke, with burial following in the Fillinger Cemetery near Pembroke. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday evening from 6 to 8 p.m.
