Sutphin, Betty Wheeling

Betty Wheeling Sutphin, 80, of Dublin, passed away Wednesday, February 27, 2013. She was a former nurse’s aide at Radford Community Hospital for over 20 years and a member of Fairlawn Grace Brethren Church. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be sadly missed by her family. She was preceded in death by her parents George Alvis and Nannie Beulah Graham Wheeling, and brother, Don Wheeling. Survivors include her husband, Thomas Draper Sutphin; sons, Alan Dale Rupe and Kevin Dean Rupe; daughter, Michelle Dawn Mayes; sisters, Joan “Patsy” Bowden and Elsie Phillips; 9 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
