Billy Gene (Button) Moore, 80, of Radford, passed away Sunday, February 17, 2013. He was a United States Army veteran and retired from the RAAP. He was preceded in death by his parents, Norman and Eugenia Moore; daughters, Patricia Diane Moore and Rebecca Jean Moore; two brothers and four sisters. Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Barbara Fortune Moore, of Radford; grandsons, Randall Morris, of Radford and Michael Keene and his wife, Kindra, of Purceville; great-grandchildren, Julian, Aila, Isaac and Abel Keene; sister, Pauline Duncan, of Radford; brother, Pete Moore of Radford; and special friend, Red Beans. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, February 20, 2013, at the West Radford Church of God with the Rev. James Walker and the Rev. Hershel Daniels officiating. Interment will follow in the West View Cemetery in Radford. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. at the church.
