Price, William Vance (Bank)

William Vance (Bank) Price, 94, of Blacksburg, passed away on Tuesday, January 8, 2013. He was the youngest child of Enos and Bessie Price. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ellen S. Price; and two sisters, Lamah Rucker and Edith Hughes. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Albert Price and Harvey Price; and a precious granddaughter, Jennifer Lea Price. He is survived by a daughter, Ieda P. Sturgill and husband, Mike; a son, Donald G. Price and wife, Lois; and a grandson, Jason C. Price and wife, Nyoka. He is also survived by a sister-in-law, Carnelia O. Smith. Although we had him for 94 years, he will be greatly missed. The family wishes to thank the staff at Heritage Hall Health Care and the Good Samaritan Hospice for their help and care of our father. Funeral Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Friday, January 11, 2013, in the Blacksburg First Wesleyan Church, 1406 Giles Road, NE, Blacksburg with the Rev. John Hopkins officiating. Interment will follow in the Westview Cemetery, Blacksburg. Friends may call any time after noon on Thursday, January 10, 2013, and the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday evening at the McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Dr., SW, Blacksburg, Va.
